Clay Ostwald- Best known as Gloria Estefan's assistant musical director for the past 28 years, Clay has produced multiple Grammy award winning records, and racked up over 20 platinum, gold and Top40 hits as a producer, pianist, songwriter, arranger and recording engineer. Nominated for the prestigious Grammy "Producer of the Year" award, he has also worked with a broad range of musical acts of every genre including Stevie Wonder, Tony Bennett, Madonna, Santana, Paul Simon, Frank Sinatra and Carole King. As owner of Red Rock Studios and Red Rock Productions, Clay moves effortlessly between stage and studio, with his roots that reach deeper into the jazz world than his resume would imply. Even as a young man, Clay won the "Boulder Beer National Jazz Piano Competition" which was judged by jazz legend McCoy Tyner. Since then he has continued to grow and expand in many ways and has become one of Miami's best jazz pianists. He always manages to keep his eye on the larger picture and plays exactly what is required in any given situation.
Carlomagno Araya - Internationally known drummer Carlomagno Araya first came on the scene as the drummer for Salsa singer Ruben Blades playing on Rubens Grammy winning CD "Mundo" which won the grammy for "best tropical contemporary album" and "best world music album". Carlo has since become one of south Floridas top jazz drummers playing with the likes of Gary Burton, Paquito D'Rivera, Randy Brecker, Richard Bona and Eddie Gomez as well as many others. He brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience to the band in several different genres and has a sense of rhythmic accuracy that is second to none on both drum set and hand percussion.
Nicky Orta- Nicky is in every sense a virtuoso on his particular instrument. Whether the situation calls for playing deep in the pocket R&B bass lines, swinging walking lines, hot latin grooves, sensitive ballads or nuclear hot solos Nicky has it ALL covered, and then some. Nicky's versatility with musical styles has enabled him to perform with many artists in a variety of genres. In the jazz idiom, he has performed/recorded with artists such as Randy Brecker, Othello Molineaux, Toots Thielemans, Mike Stern, Chick Corea, Paquito D'Rivera, Ernie Watts, Randy Bernsen, James Moody, Danilo Perez, Carlos Averhoff, Nestor Torres, Horacio Hernandez, Sammy Figueroa, Dave Valentin, Gary Campbell, Dave Weckl, and many others. In the Latin/pop genre, Nicky has performed and recorded with a long list of artists that includes Cristian Castro, Alexander Pires, Gloria Estefan, Alejandro Fernandez, Engelbert Humperdinck, Wayne Newton, Candido, and Israel "Cachao" Lopez. In 2005, Nicky received a Grammy nomination for his work on the album "...And Sammy Walked In" by Sammy Figueroa and his Latin Jazz Explosion.
